Breaking down all things pop culture

A big list of new stuff to talk about this week while still doing a bit of catch-up, but there is a slight difference this week. Sitting in for Chloe is our first-ever guest co-host, Bill Harris from After The Credits and The Green Screen Of Death and a guy who does circles around all of us in the sheer amount of movies he sees!

This week’s picks:

Clayface – The DC Universe digs into Batman’s rogues’ gallery for a jaunt into the horror genre.

Wildwood – Laika Studios has been building their catalogue and technical achievements to this epic point, and it’s dazzling!

Fatherland – Sandra Hüller drives her writer father around Germany during the Cold War. A Vancouver International Film Festival title.

Wicker – A Vancouver International Film Festival favorite, this is one of the year’s must-sees, and you WILL fall in love with Olivia Colman. Again.

You Can See Everything – Probably the most anticipated film in the last part of 2026 and the most buzzworthy and challenging film I’ve ever seen.

Heart Of The Beast – Brad Pitt gets upstaged for the first time in his career, and it’s by a dog! No joke!

Primetime – The second Lance Oppenheim film on the podcast this week and maybe a surefire Oscar nomination earner for both Robert Pattinson and Skyler Gisondo.

Looking forward to next week: Digger, Resident Evil, The Stunt Driver, Nouvelle Vague, Young Mothers
